Online Pilgrimage: A Contemplative Journey
Using the book “The Soul of a Pilgrim: Eight Practices for the Journey Within” by Christine Valters Painter,
this short series invites us into an inner pilgrimage—an intentional journey of deep listening, creative expression, and gentle transformation. Drawing on Paintner’s themes, reflections, and prompts, we’ll travel together through the movements of call, threshold, trust, mystery, and homecoming.

Meet Allison
This is Allison’s third season to facilitate online with us at the Threshold Center. She is beloved by the people who participate in her programs and manages to create a warm yet professional environment through online engagement. That’s a tough job, but she thrives in unique situations.
Have you ever met someone who walked the Camino de Santiago? How about walked it alone? Allison has. And that same strength and determination for change and clarity in her life is what makes her a great facilitator.
Allison is a former nonprofit executive director with deep expertise in driving change, from establishing new organizations to guiding existing teams through challenging transitions. Her ability to ask thoughtful questions enables her to bring clarity to complex situations and quickly establish trust. Allison is passionate about facilitating conversations that lead to consensus and fostering safe, hope-centered cultures that unite diverse populations.
Allison has a background in trauma-informed care and is currently completing a certification in Spiritual Direction. She enjoys spending time with her two sons, international travel, and exploring the outdoors with her Goldendoodle, Duke.
