Enneagram Wings and Resource Points
Designed as a deeper dive into the Enneagram looking at each type’s access to awareness and growth
Enneagram One-Day Workshop | Two Sessions:
This one-day, two-part workshop offers a deeper dive into the Enneagram as a tool for awareness and growth.
You may attend either the AM session or the PM session or both. They are not sequential programs, so choose as best suites your needs.
We’ll explore how each type moves along the lines of stress and integration, and how instinctual subtypes shape the ways we relate to others, respond to life’s challenges, and move through the world.
The day will include guided reflection, thoughtful discussion, breakout groups, and simple somatic and spiritual practices.
What to Know Before You Come
The Enneagram is more than a personality framework—it’s a practical tool for understanding yourself and others with greater clarity and compassion.
You do not need to know your Enneagram type to participate, though some familiarity is helpful.
If you’d like support clarifying your type in advance (or have questions), you’re welcome to reach out to the facilitators here.
Morning Session : Wings & Lines of Stress and Integration
Understanding your core type is a meaningful step in self-awareness, and exploring wings and lines of stress and integration adds depth and nuance. In this session, we’ll use the Enneagram symbol as a dynamic map to explore how each type tends to react under stress, what happens when we become less present, and how we can move toward our natural capacities for growth and balance.
You will learn how to:
Notice your likely wing and how it shows up in daily life and relationships
Understand the stress and integration lines and what they reveal about your patterns
Recognize your personal stress responses
Use guided questions for reflection and self-assessment
Practice simple tools for returning to presence and accessing your “resource points”
Afternoon Session: Instinctual Subtypes & Relationships
Each Enneagram type includes three instinctual subtypes—self-preservation, one-to-one, and social—which reflect how we prioritize safety, connection, and belonging. These instincts are body-based survival strategies we all use, but one often dominates our energy and attention. Understanding your subtype can help explain why people of the same type can look very different and offers a powerful lens for relationship awareness.
You will learn how to:
Identify the three instinctual drives and how they operate in everyday life
See how each instinct can shape the expression of your Enneagram type
Get a clearer sense of your likely dominant subtype through observation and reflection
Recognize how emotional habits often show up through instinctual priorities
Practice ways to access all three instincts for greater balance, well-being, and healthier relationships
