Connections - AM Sessions

Discover New Connections and Celebrate the Creativity Within You

Through the easy-to-learn art of Zentangle, writing, and conversation, we will connect with ourselves and others by engaging our hands, minds, and hearts.

What is Zentangle?

Zentangle is a meditative way of drawing structured patterns that create beautiful images.  If you are thinking, “I can’t draw!”, that is wonderful!  Zentangle is about what we can create one pen stroke at a time.

How It Works

  • Duration: 3 weeks in MORNING sessions

  • Format: Weekly in-person meetings

    • We will begin by working with our hands through the art of Zentangle. Our faciliator, Elizabeth Vander Kamp, will provide supplies, instruction, and any help you need to get started.

    • Our 2nd week, we will continue with a brief Zentangle and explore our thoughts through facilitated discussion and writing exercises.

    • And the final week will be about our hearts.  We will begin with a brief Zentangle and then move toward deeper connection with an exploration of the wisdom we find in our hearts and how we can best listen to that wisdom.

What You’ll Need

  • Your supplies will be provided as part of your registration fee. They are yours to keep.

  • Bring coffee, tea, or your own refreshing drink or snack if desired. If possible, due to the nature of the class and our artistic creations, please bring your drinks in a bottle or sealed cup to prevent spills.
