Wonders & Worth: Seeking Balance Between Achievement and Awareness

Together, we’ll consider what it means to operate at full capacity—without losing yourself in the process

The world is filled with so many wonders. Yet, our day-to-day life affirms our attachment to achievement and productivity. Let’s bridge that gap.

There are Wonders of the New World, Wonders of the Old World, Wonders of the Natural World…including countless miracles, human-made and natural, that quicken our hearts and take our breath away. What if we included ourselves in our understanding of these external wonders?

In this group, we will explore 6 wonders OUT there to understand what is IN you. From Machu Picchu to the Taj Mahal, Stone Henge to the Gardens of Babylon, we will wander the wonders of the world and land in a new place of wonder in ourselves.

For those seeking a better balance of both internal and external awareness and accomplishment, join Mollie as she leads us.

A sample of our multi-week topics will include the following:

1. Inca and Innovation: exploring information about Machu Picchu, the notion of sanctuary. We will build with dominos as we ponder innovation within ourselves.

2. Maya and Motivation: studying one aspect of Mayan culture through art and ritual and then comparing that to motivating parts of our own culture. We will end with a tea ceremony of ritual.

3. Stonehenge and Stability: gaining an overview of the last remaining lentilled stone circle and how we can build structures and patterns that last.

4. Taj Mahal and Tolerance: discussing the intricacies of the Taj Mahal as a tomb, then relating that to our own "inner tombs": where do we put away ideas and stories that shape our beliefs? How do those beliefs then affect how we treat and accept others?
